Despite a number of our regular volunteers being absent because of the Bank Holiday today we still had an amazing turnout of 38 volunteers working throughout a dry and mainly overcast morning in the park.

Our team was boosted by a number of young families whose presence created a lovely atmosphere throughout the morning. We were also delighted to welcome 3 new local volunteers Allan, Dominique and Dan for the first time and Laurent one of our Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteers and his Mum Marie-Claude.

Everybody was made very welcome.

NEXT MONDAY - BIG HELP OUT EVENT!

Next Monday is once again a Bank Holiday and so again we will be 'open for business as usual'. However next week we are hoping to attract even more volunteers by registering our Monday morning volunteering session as one of the BIG HELP OUT events in the coronation events programme.

If you know of anybody who is looking to join in and volunteer as part of the coronation programme then will you please encourage them to join us next Monday.
